At the young age of 17, this ‘voice of Rafi’ boy has shown a fabulous talent in the contest and demonstrated that talent doesn’t rely on age. Aabhas from Jabalpur, sang Dil Tera Deewana Hai Sanam as a tribute to Late Mohammed Rafi in an audition. A lover of the golden oldies, he dreams to lend his voice for songs composed by his brother who desires to become a music director. He was among the top 3 finalists on Star Voice of India. After being voted out once, he bounced back in the main contest through a wild card entry. He was finally eliminated on November 10, 2007.He was also one of the contestants of Junoon, a singing competition on NDTV Imagine channel. He represented the Bollywood Ke Baadshah team. He was among the top three finalists. He then went on to host Voice of India Chote Ustaad. Abhaass big musical break came alongwith Music Director of the film Sawariya and Voice of India Season 2 Judge- Monty Sharma. Apart from being a singer, Abhas has also successfully anchored the show Voice of India - Chhote Ustaad. He has recently recorded a song for an untitled animation film, composed by Aadesh Srivastava and he is involved in singing jingles as well.
