Barkat Sidhu
Barkat Sidhu, a sufi singer from Punjab, a fine exponent of the Patiala Gharana. Barkat Sidhu began his journey in music at a very young age as his melodious voice and talent was God gifted. Inspite of the heritage he received from his Guru Kesar Chand, his style of singing is unique and his repertoire amazingly diverse. His rendition of compositions of Sufi poets is soul-stirring to say the least. His haunting voice moves the inner being to the core with poetry of timeless poets like Bulle Shah, Shah Hussain, Baba Farid and others. One of his hit album is Rom Rom Vich Tu.
