Ketki Dave is primarily a Gujrati Theatre and Film Actress who has roughly 75 films to her credit in Gujrati and around 40-50 plays.Though she acted in earlier serials like Hum Sab Ek Haiin the 1990's, she became best known to National Audiences through her role as Daksha Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi with her catch phrase "Arraro".

She has acted in a number of hindi movies like Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa, Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet but her most famous role was that of the mother of Saif Ali Khan's character in the Karan Johar superhit Kal Ho Na Ho. In most of the films she plays a stereotypical gujrati with an accent to match.
