THE RECENT Ganesh festival had people dancing to a remixed version of Maisammo... Maisamma.The mass acceptance is proof enough for Piyush Soni, to gauge the popularity of his debut Telugu remix album.The Chokra artiste has grown since the hit from 1995 that was followed by Ek baar and Digital raaga. Maisammo... Maisamma is a compilation of popular folk songs from Telugu cinema, Aaku chatu, Mabbe masakesindhile, Shubhalekha raasukunna and more, that he selected with a little help from Telugu film producers. Piyush also introduces new vocalists Srikanth, Gayatri, Vasu and Chandana. The latter who also features on the video earlier acted in Gharshana and Shatru.
