Rakhi Sawant

Bold & beautiful Rakhi Sawant is a famous bollywood actress. She is popular as an item girl. Rakhi Sawant was only 14 year old when she was offered her first item number opposite Govinda for the movie "Joru ka Gulam" in 2000. Her biggest success came with the item song "mohabbat hai mirchi" for the movie "Chura Liya Hai Tumne" in 2003. Sawant was born as Neeru Sawant to Jaya Sawant and S.P Sawant, a Mumbai policeman, who has been described as "very strict". Hailing from a poor family, she had only a few years of formal education. She is the sister of film director Rakesh Sawant and former actress Usha Sawant.

On August 2, 2009 Sawant chose her life partner on her show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar. She chose to marry a contestant from Markham, Canada, Elesh Parujanwala.

She recently split from her beau Elesh after having cultural differences with him while on the show "Pati Patni aur Woh".
