RITU SINGH VAIDYA - singer, model, former Miss India, and a dreamer! She is also open to stage performances. Life took a different turn after she was crowned the May Queen. Modeling offers poured in and soon she was crowned Miss India! Thereafter, she traveled to various parts of the world, participating in beauty contests where she always reached the top five. A world of opportunities opened for her. She deems these experiences as a complete eye-opener. However, a desire raised its head time and again. But due to lack of time and circumstances, she could not pursue it during her modeling days. Her mother was an exquisite singer and her sister had trained in classical Indian music for twelve years. Ritus dreams ran a similar path. Her dream came true when she moved to Nepal a few years back. Since then she has been learning Indian classical music. It was only after she felt confident about her abilities as a singer that she decided to cut an album! The bottomline, she believes, is to listen to ones heart. She is a spirited woman who wants to have it all! The challenge, she says, lies in striking the right balance. She believes that she is a complete person and credits her family, friends, and army background for it. For her, music is a need, a desire to live a full life and an expression to reach newer horizons.
