Riya Sen

Daughter of actress Moon Moon Sen and Bharat Dev Varma, a descendant of the royal family of Cooch Behar.

Has starred in a number of music videos in the Indipop circuit.

The Model turned actress Riya sen has appeared on the cover of a number of magazines including Femina, Elaan, Man’s World, Gladrags, Savvy and Indian versions of Elle, Maxim and Cosmopolitan. She has set the ramp on fire in major fashion shows - Lakmé Fashion Week (2005-07) and Wills Fashion Week (2006-2007).

Riya sen is the only female face to be featured on the calendar of Dabboo Ratnani, one of the leading Indian Photographers known for his calenders featuring Crème de la Crème of the Bollywood film industry, for five consecutive years (2003-07).

Her first commercial success in her film career was with Style, a 2001 Hindi directed by N. Chandra.

Riya has worked as an activist and appeared in an AIDS awareness music video with the aim of dispelling popular myths about the disease.
