Sourabhee Debbarama is a girl from Agartala, who beat other 2 finalists to become the winner of Indian Idol 4. Before this series, all the winners of Indian Idol namely Abhijeet Sawant, Sandeep Acharya, and Amit Paul were male. She started out in singing very early and was always an exceptional singer. She is a petite, cute and charismatic who adds glamor to any stage performance with her perfect moves and great voice- a plus point she has had since the beginning of the show. Interestingly, she has never got any professional training in music. Now, she has become a household name not only in her state Tripura but all over India. People of Tripura are very happy that their talent has been recognized on a bigger platform like Indian Idol. Indian Idol has finally got its first ‘Female Winner’ in Sourabhee Debbarma.
