Khushboo Purohit who won a lot of fans for her dancing skills in the first season of Zee TV's Dance India Dance has now taken to acting!!. The girl is seen playing the younger sister of the protagonist Ragini Khanna in the newly launched show on Star Plus, Sasural Genda Phool. Talking about her role, Khushboo told us, "I play the character of Sanjana, the sensible girl who handles her sister Suhana (Ragini Khanna) as well as her dad, played by Mahesh Thakur". Khushboo tells us that she has always been fascinated with acting, though dance is her passion. "Since childhood, I wanted to act as well as dance. So I went ahead and auditioned for this role, when I got this opportunity. It feels great to be seen in a television show. I am a complete new comer to acting, and have not taken any course".
