PRATAP FAUZDAR

Pratap Faujdar,born and brought up in Punjab and an engineer by profession,has been writing humorous poetry for the last five and is a popular figure in his locality for his sense of humour. A member of Hasya Kavi Sammelan, Faujdar’s jokes mainly focus on political satire and social issues based on his daily life experiences. He also owns an automobile components’ factory. For his comic acts Faujdar is indebted to his mentor, renowned comedian Ashok Chakradhar for his guidance. On his entry to The Great India Laughter Challenge Dwitiya contest,Faujdar says, “I am thankful to one of my friends from Agra for sending one CD performance of mine to STAR. The channel was impressed with my comic talent and the rest is history.” Speaking on his performance, Faujdar says,” Shekhar Suman was impressed with my accurate and artistic performance while Navjot Singh Sidhu came up to personally congratulate me on stage.
