Teejay Sidhu is an Indian Actress, Vj, RJ, Model, Anchor, censor board member and Film Producer. Her real name is Tajinder Sidhu, she is canada base model and actress. She was born in Sagarpur, Punjab on January 22, 1980. She is also a co-founder of India based music magazine Rave which was subsequently sold to a U.S. Organisation.
Teejay was canada based actress, she was born in India and brought up in Vancouver, Canada. Her father and mother Kewal Sidhu and Surinder Sidhu moved from India to Canada in the mid of 70s. Teejay graduated in Broadcast Communication from British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Teejay moved to mumbai in 2002 to pursue career in Entertainment Industry. She started working as radio jockey in 93.5 Red FM, teejay anchoring the afternoon Show, simultaneously she began modeling for various brands, ramp shows. After some time she become a VJ with Channel V and hosting the show "Channel V Workouts" and Get Gorgeous in 2007. She took part in the Gladrags pageant and won the Gladrags Best Model award.
She acted alongside Bollywood’s legendary Helen in 2009. She made her film debut in the hit Punjabi movie, Tera Mera Ki Rishta alongside Jimmy Sheirgill. She is currently a radio presenter on 94.3 Radio One, India's only international radio station, and has also starred in the hit Punjabi film, 'Love Yoou Soniye,' which released December 6th, 2013.
Teejay is married to television actor Karanvir Bohra for the last five years. Duo met at the Mount Mary Church through a common friend Anupama Verma and sat on the steps and chatted for an hour. Teejay said " We were very comfortable at our first meeting and then we met again after two months at a photo exhibition" The couple had five years courtship before they tied the knot.
